A great turnout at the Community Centre Thursday coffee morning to celebrate the ever-youthful Josie’s 99th birthday. Suitably yummy cakes provided by Ordrith and Anne. Many thanks to all.

Castle Pub v Red Lion Llangors.

The winners this year were The Castle Pub Team.

The photograph shows some of the team with the Cup. In the photo are Ollie Greenow,  Sam Eagle,  Izaak Duffy and Adam Willmott. It was great to see so many people come along to enjoy this annual ritual in Llangors, especially those returning home for a New Year visit.

Thanks to both hostelries for participating in this enjoyable event.

The weather was kinder than forecast and a very decent crowd of all ages attended the final of the Llangors Boules competition 2023 on the green. It was a great afternoon. Many thanks to all who participated and prepared for the event.

Just a reminder that the Boules Competition takes place on Sunday (October 1^st) at the Old Village Hall site, commencing at 3 o’clock. Free food and beverages (a la France) will be available throughout the afternoon. As well as extending an invitation to you, it would be much appreciated if you could forward this e mail on to others in order to publicise the event as extensively as possible.
