Llangors New Year’s Day Tug of War Competition 2024.

Castle Pub v Red Lion Llangors.

The winners this year were The Castle Pub Team.

The photograph shows some of the team with the Cup. In the photo are Ollie Greenow,  Sam Eagle,  Izaak Duffy and Adam Willmott. It was great to see so many people come along to enjoy this annual ritual in Llangors, especially those returning home for a New Year visit.

Thanks to both hostelries for participating in this enjoyable event.

Llangors Christmas Market

Santa and his cheeky elf visited Llangors on Friday evening, December 8th, at the annual Christmas Market.  Over 40 children visited them in their magical grotto in the Community Centre. They wrote letters for Santa and he rewarded them with a chocolate gift and candy stick.
There were also 17 stalls selling festive gifts and mulled wine and mince pies were served from the kitchen.
Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful New Year to all.
