SOME ACTIVITIES CANCELLED DUE TO COVID ARE SLOWLY REOPENING (FOLLOWING STRICT GUIDELINES). SEE NEWS FOR DETAILS. THE POST OFFICE REMAINS OPEN

With a resurfaced floor and a new coat of paint, it is now looking very smart and hopefully the Centre can reopen fully for hire soon.

Our aim is to be a hub for the recreational and educational needs of the residents of Llangors and surrounding area that will be user friendly and open to everyone within the community. We have a small management committee who are always looking for more members and ideas about activities as well as fundraising. Currently we are involved in developing a small area, that was part of the old village school site, as a recreation ground for people of all ages and we will be calling for help to take this project forward in the New Year.

Drop in Coffee

A Post Office is open, in the Community Centre, every Monday (10 – 12) and Thursday (9.30 – 11.30) mornings. During these times tea/coffee and biscuits are served in the Centre providing an opportunity for people to meet and natter. On the second Monday of each month different charities benefit from the sales of cakes and coffee

Once a month, usually the last Monday of every month (unless this is a Bank Holiday when the event is brought forward one week), the Community Centre hosts a ‘Potage and Pudding’ for everyone, regardless of age, who wishes to attend (12.30 – 2.00pm). A selection of delicious soups and puddings are served for the small price of £2.50. Again, this is an opportunity to meet new friends or catch up with existing ones.
